On October 7 a 29 year veteran Chicago Police Captain was shot in the head while attempting to arrest a violent gunman who had already shot several people in Indiana over the weekend. He is expected to recover. That is how first responders earn their pensions and why we need to ensure greedy politicians pay what is expected.
