Democratic gubernatorial candidate Bill Daley will unveil his own solution to the Illinois pension crisis.
Ahead of the planned special session of the Illinois General Assembly on Wednesday, Daley, who criticized Governor Pat Quinn for “failed leadership” and Attorney General Lisa Madigan for “failure to address constitutional issues” around pension reform, will roll-out a “three-point plan to break the impasse on pension reform” at a press conference on Monday morning, according to a media statement.
The ex-U.S. Commerce Secretary will speak to the press at the Union League Club at 10:30 a.m. to explain his plan.
